WHO’S SIGNING:
Moms are signing the “Million Moms Petition” because they are asking food manufacturers to qualify for and display the Family Food Experts Kid Kritics Approved seal on their food and beverage packaging. This will make it super simple for parents to shop for and quickly identify healthier foods and beverages that their kids will love to eat and drink.
A LITTLE BACKGROUND:
In order to be awarded the right to display the Kid Kritics Approved seal, food and beverage products must meet nutritional standards set by the Family Food Experts independent Certification Board, comprised of doctors, psychologists, and other nutrition and health professionals. Once a product is certified, then it is submitted to the Kid Kritics for taste testing. If the kids love it, the manufacturer is qualified to display the Kid Kritics Approved seal.
WHAT YOUR SIGNATURE CAN DO:
By signing our Million Moms Petition, you are telling food and beverage manufacturers that you care about your family’s nutrition and health and so should they. You are saying, “Get qualified to wear the KKA label on your healthier products so I, the consumer, can easily find you on grocers’ shelves and feel safe taking your products home to serve my family.”
